Denton Florist began as Selby Florist, rooted in a family legacy of farming and floristry dating back to the 1920s. The Selby family transitioned from truck farming to full-time floral work, operating a nursery where The Greenhouse Restaurant & Bar now stands.
Over generations, the business has evolved while honoring its deep local roots. In the 1960’s the Selby family sold their business, and the new owners changed the name to Denton Florist. As a family-owned business, we are honored to continue the tradition of providing fresh, beautiful blooms with a heartfelt touch—celebrating life’s moments, big and small, for nearly a century.

With a shared love for creativity, connection, and local charm, we’re honored to carry forward a long-standing Denton tradition of delivering beauty through flowers.

Tonya has been in the floral arranging business for 24 years, and her knowledge and skill set are invaluable. She has a knack for creating large, flowy, eye-catching flower arrangements.
